Maureen Gilmer is one of the top garden writers in America. She is an authority on the role of nature, plants, and gardens in our everyday lives and those of peoples and cultures worldwide. With 25 years experience in virtually every aspect of horticulture from basic gardening to landscape architecture, her work spans the entire breadth of the industry. This diverse background is communicated in every media: publishing, radio, television and Internet.
Maureen is author of 15 gardening books published on both a regional and national scale. The majority of these titles are national and international, but she also lays claim to the greatest number of books today written strictly for the California garden by a single author.
