Mary Jane Mapes has been a consultant, author, professional speaker, seminar leader, workshop trainer, and executive coach for twenty years. Working with thousands of people annually throughout the United States and Canada, she presents on the topics of leadership development, customer service, and interpersonal communication. She has worked for such client organizations as Pfizer, Roche Diagnostics, Duke University Medical School, Trinity Health Systems, Auto-Owners Insurance, KMart, Avon Products, Inc., the Defense Logistics Services Center, the US Post Office, numerous associations, and governmental organizations.
Mary Jane is a past president of the National Speakers Association - Michigan Chapter, and is one of a small number of women worldwide to have earned the prestigious CSP, Certified Speaking Professional, designation granted by the National Speakers Association for excellence in the field of speaking. She is one of only three recipients to have been honored with the Charles Leadership Award from the National Speakers Association - Michigan Chapter for outstanding leadership.
Mary Jane is the author of the book, The Art of Fielding Questions with Finesse, numerous published articles, e-books, audio/video learning albums, a twice monthly electronic newsletter, The Communication Connection, and a quarterly newsletter, The Aligned Leader Journal
