




Malinda Williams starred in the cable movie Dancing in September, directed by Reggie Rock Bythewood. The film aired in February 2001 and was screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
She was also featured in the independent film An Invited Guest, directed by Timothy Wayne Folsome, which also starred Mekhi Phifer, Kim Fields and Wanya Morris. The film won Best of Show at the 1999 Acapulco Black Film Festival and the Audience Awards at the 1999 Urban World Festival in New York.
Williams also starred in the MTV film The Wood, distributed by Paramount. Other film credits include Sunset Park, High School High and A Thin Line Between Love and Hate.
Williams' television credits include ABC's NYPD Blue and CBS's What About Your Friends? She has also appeared in such sitcoms as Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher where she was a series regular and on several episodes of Moesha.
