Lisa Love (born January 10, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is the Senior West Coast Editor of Vogue, Teen Vogue, Men's Vogue and Vogue Living magazines.[1] Although Love was born in the mid-West and was raised in Europe, she has been a resident of California since 1982.[2] She is known for her hairstyles on the Hills. THey are very often unstyled, and all over the place.

Love is a graduate of the School of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and at the urging of friend Andy Warhol, began modeling in Paris shortly after her commencement. She posed for such renowned photographers as Guy Bourdin, Helmut Newton, Patrick Demarchelier and Bruce Weber. Love then moved to Los Angeles to take the West coast helm at Interview magazine. After a few years there, she began her long tenure as the West Coast Editor for Vogue, Teen Vogue, Men's Vogue and Vogue Living. Love is most recently known for her appearances on the MTV reality series The Hills.[3] The show's star, Lauren Conrad, works as an intern at Teen Vogue.[4] Love has been featured in many scenes with Conrad, as her boss at the magazine.[3] Love appeared in the premiere episode of The Hills when she interviewed Conrad for the internship position at Teen Vogue.[4]

Love also appeared as an "Orlean Dinner Guest" in the 2002 Academy-Award-nominated film Adaptation.

In 2007, Love collaborated with Vogue editor-at-large André Leon Talley and Vogue fashion editor Lawren Howell to create "A Celebration of Oscar Fashion," a show presenting gowns worn by nominees, winners and presenters at the Academy Awards over the years.[5] The invitation-only event showcased over forty dresses and was attended by designers, current owners and, in some cases, the original wearers.[5] Also in connection with her position at Vogue, Love has been involved with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, an award program that combines a financial prize with business mentoring to promote young American talent.
