As the owner and creator of Nails Naturally, Inc., a hand and foot spa located in Chicago, LaShaun creates a nurturing environment for all of her guests. Seventeen years of industry experience ensures that her guests stay on the cutting edge of inner beauty, nail health, and education. It comes as no surprise that her handiwork has been featured on the covers of Nailpro and NAILS magazines. A fierce competitor in industry events she was honored as NAILS Magazine's "Nail Technician of the Year" as well as "One of the Most Influential Nail Technicians in the Professional Industry". She is a Certified Competition Judge and was twice named by Salon Sense magazine as "One of the Most Influential Women in the Beauty Business". Brown-Glenn's generous nature and determination to represent the best of her industry makes Nails Naturally a Chicago favorite.
Recognizing LaShaun's outgoing personality, communication skills, and industry knowledge as a winning combination, industry leaders moved quickly. Since 1996, she has been an educator for major nail care manufacturers including Backscratchers and Creative Nail Design. She has been designated by Creative as "Award Winning Educator", "International Educator", and Creative appointed her to be on the prestigious "Team Creative". Milady Publishing Company features LaShaun as lead nail tech in their newly released educational videos. In addition, Brown-Glenn is a member of the Chicago Cosmetologist Association, the International Nail Technicians Association, Member of the International Education Team, Advisory Board Member and Educational Committee Co-Chairperson for the Nail Care Association, Advisory Board Member for the Global Nail Exchange, and a registered C.E Sponsor for the State of Illinois.
Requests for speaking engagements led to the creation of On Point Communications. On Point Communications offers hands-on and interactive education classes focusing on continuing education, skills enhancement, customer service, retailing, and business consulting. More importantly, LaShaun is able to share her experiences and inspire others by coaching and offering forums to discuss personal and professional growth which has been critical to her own success.
