McLaughlin and Brubaker are the two-time defending U.S. champions ... They won every event in which they skated in their first season together (2006-07), including the Junior Grand Prix Final and the World Junior Championships ... Have medaled at five of their six Grand Prix assignments (three silvers, two bronzes) ... Left Colorado Springs and their coach of three years, Dalilah Sappenfield, in the spring of 2009 to train with John Nicks in Aliso Viejo, Calif.
McLaughlin started skating at age 4 when she accompanied her mother on the "Disney on Ice" skating tour ... Has a younger sister, Mya ...
