Kate Jackson is a female television legend whose career has spanned more than three decades, including leading roles in the hit series Charlie’s Angels, Scarecrow and Mrs. King and The Rookies. Her acting career began in 1966 with the gothic soap opera Dark Shadows, where she played a ghost, and extends to playing a plaintiff on Ally McBeal. She has appeared in numerous TV movies and also has directed.
In recent years, Jackson has met several new challenges as well. At age 45, she had surgery to correct a previously undetected congenital heart defect. Then she adopted her first child.
At the podium, Jackson delivers an inspiring and engaging message about women’s health and wellness issues, the joys and challenges of single parenthood, as well as the riveting story of her journey through Hollywood.
