Biography of Jordan Lewis

Jordan Lewis is widely regarded as one of the world's foremost authorities on alliances. He is most at home in the trenches, resolving the interpersonal, political, organizational, governance, mutual trust and other issues that are often involved. He has written three books and edited a fourth on alliances and has lectured at the Columbia, Dartmouth, London, Northwestern and Wharton business schools.
Lewis's work has received national and international recognition from the American Management Association, Management Centre Europe and the World Economic Forum. He is a Fellow of the Forum and has spoken at four of its annual meetings in Davos, as well as at major events sponsored by Fortune, Business Week, and the Institutional Investor around the world.

Over the past 30 years Lewis has built and often repaired alliances for leading companies worldwide. His work defines the cutting edge in building all forms of alliances between companies and their customers, suppliers, competitors and others. He covers all major industries from services and manufacturing and consumer and industrial goods to low and high technology.

Lewis's three books - Trusted Partners, The Connected Corporation, and Partnerships for Profit - have been published in 12 languages. Lewis is active throughout Asia, Europe, North and South America and the Middle East. Among the companies he has advised are American Express, DuPont, Ford, GE, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, IBM, Marriott, Merck, Procter & Gamble, Royal Bank of Scotland, Siemens and Tesco.

Aside from his corporate work, Lewis volunteers his time to important nonprofits, such as the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, where he chairs the board committee on global affiliate relations.
