Joline Godfrey is the founder and CEO of Independent Means Inc., the leading provider of financial education products and programs for affluent families and their advisors. She is the author of the groundbreaking new book, Raising Financially Fit Kids, which outlines a developmental approach to financial education. She has also written 3 previous books on money skills for girls and women: Twenty $ecrets to Money and Independence: The DollarDiva’s Guide to Life, No More Frogs to Kiss: 99 Ways to Give Economic Power to Girls, and Our Wildest Dreams: Women Making Money, Doing Good, Having Fun. Media appearances include the "Today Show," "Oprah," Fortune, Business Week and New York Times. Joline is a former Polaroid Corporation executive; while there she founded Odysseum, one of the first corporate spin-offs in the ‘80s. She is the subject of a popular Harvard Business School case and the recipient of an honorary degree in business from Bentley College.
