Detailed Biography of Jillian Barberie
|
Jillian Barberie brings her 14-year career as a co-host and weather forecaster and her signature fashion expertise to “Good Day LA,” the Emmy Award-winning, top-rated FOX morning show. She reports for the show’s “Style File,” the daily segment that spotlights the hottest and most current trends in celebrity and everyday fashion. She also created the show’s popular “Adopt-a-Pet” segment.
Barberie has made special appearances on several television shows. In September 2000 she joined the “FOX NFL Sunday” team with Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and James Brown.
Most recently, Barberie has appeared on the series “Related”; Howie Mandel’s cable show “Hidden Howie”; FOX’s MADtv, “Fastlane”and “Quintuplets”; “Eve”; “The Andy Dick Show”; and “Yes, Dear.” She had a recurring role on “Good Morning, Miami,” and appeared on FX’s “V.I.P.” as “Foxy Levin” with Pamela Anderson; as a game show host in “Clueless”; as a news reporter on “Beverly Hills 90210”; and on “Arliss.” In addition, she played herself in the series finale of “Melrose Place.” In June 2000, Barberie was a guest host on “LIVE! with Regis & Kathie Lee.”She has appeared numerous times on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Howard Stern,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Politically Incorrect.” She has also hosted “The Test” on the FX network, FOX’s “Extreme Dating” and “The Best Damn Sports Show.”
Barberie’s magazine credits include Allure, Self, Shape, Maxim, FHM, People, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, US Weekly and In Touch, among many others. Her home has been featured on such TV shows as EXTRA, E! Entertainment, The Travel Channel and VH-1.
Prior to moving to the U.S., Barberie started her career as a weeknight weathercaster for Canada’s Weather Network. Barberie graduated with a Broadcast-Journalism degree from Mohawk College of Applied Arts & Technology in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
