Detailed Biography of Jay Gulledge
|
|
Jay Gulledge is senior scientist and program manager for science and impacts at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, where he communicates current scholarly understanding of climate change science and its impacts to policymakers, business leaders, and the public. A certified senior ecologist with nearly 20 years of experience in environmental sciences, he also holds an adjunct faculty appointment at the University of Wyoming, where he conducts research on the cycling of nutrients and greenhouse gases between soils and the atmosphere. He works closely with the national security community and last year co-authored a major report on the foreign policy and national security implications of climate change. Previously, he taught global environmental change at Tulane University and the University of Louisville.
