Geoff is Chairman & CEO of ghSMART, a consulting firm he founded in 1995. ghSMART is the leading management assessment and coaching firm serving billionaires, boards, and CEOs. The Firm helps its clients invest in, hire and develop "A players" to drive shareholder value creation. ghSMART is located in 8 cities in North America. Formerly, Geoff worked for what is now PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Geoff has published articles for Fortune and several journals of entrepreneurial finance. He co-authored the original article on "Topgrading" which became a best-selling management book and training DVD.
More About Geoff Smart...
Geoff is a regular lecturer at Kellogg Graduate School of Management and MIT's Sloan School of Management. He serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote an understanding of business and entrepreneurship in children. Geoff earned a B.A. in Economics with Honors from Northwestern University, an M.A., and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, where he was a student of management guru Peter F. Drucker.
