From handling new medical technologies to handing a seven iron, both doctors enliven the screen with their refreshingly appealing style, knowledge, and wit. And in March 2002, both reporters took on another responsibility, now serving as keynote speakers for the Speaking of Women's Health National Tour, reaching thousands of women across America. When not in front of the cameras, the doctors co-authored two promising health care guides, called Inside Medicine and Special Treatment: How to Get the Same High-Quality Health Care Your Doctor Gets

Dr. Kevin Soden has served as a national medical reporter for NBC News Channel with stories three times a week on more than 200 NBC stations across the U.S. He was awarded the 2001 National Award for Excellence in Medical Reporting from the National Association of Medical Communicators and was a 2001 National Finalist in Time Life's Freddie Awards for excellence in medical communication. He is the author of The Art of Medicine, to be published in the summer of 2003.

Dr. Christine Dumas is a medical reporter and since 1996, her stories on dental advances and new health technologies have appeared on NBC's Today and NBC's Weekend Today. She was awarded two Presidential Citations from the American Dental Association for her contributions to the oral health of the public and to the profession of dentistry.

Their decade's experience reporting on trends in medicine, health and sports gives them a knowledgeable, unbiased perspective that is sought-after by leading medical organizations and Fortune 500 corporations.
