While on assignment for Good Morning America, she bungee-jumped off the 229-foot-high Skippers Bay Canyon Bridge in Queenstown, New Zealand, triggering an action series that culminated in her 8,500-foot skydive over Long Island, New York. She dedicated herself to many causes, including reducing violence, child welfare issues, African-American parenting concerns, and rehabilitation of prisoners.
