Design expert, TV host, author and creator of her own furniture line, Chris Madden's passion is to make decoration and design accessible and fun for the millions of Americans.
Her weekly prime-time show, Interiors by Design on HGTV is now seen in more than 60 million households.
Chris is the editor-at-large for Homestyle Magazine and the author of 13 books, including Kitchens, Bathrooms, Chris Madden's Guide to Personalizing Your Home and A Room of Her Own. Her latest book, Getaways, was published by Clarkson Potter this past spring.
Chris’ design expertise has landed her on Oprah, Today, CNN, Good Morning America, Lifetime and numerous other TV shows. She has also designed rooms for Oprah Winfrey, Katie Couric, Gayle King and other prominent women in the media.
In addition to her roles as spokesperson for the Wallpaper Council and an active lecture schedule, Chris has found time to design a 70-piece line -- The Chris Madden Collection -- for Bassett Furniture Industries, which was introduced this spring to rave reviews.
