|
|
He has been a legal analyst for Court TV, and appeared on CNBC, MSNBC, CNN and a variety of radio stations across the country discussing trials, court decisions and U.S. Supreme Court rulings.
Gordon covered the Bush vs. Gore lawsuit after the 2000 presidential election and is the founder and chief correspondent for LawScope.com, a legal feature on television and radio shows across the country.
An award-winning reporter, he has won EMMY awards for "Hard News" in the coverage of the fatal shootings of two officers at the U.S. Capitol, and riots after a police beating in an Hispanic neighborhood. Gordon also won an Emmy in the category of "Outstanding Program" for his coverage of the dedication of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and "Best Feature" for a report on a quadriplegic skydiver.
Chris Gordon was an Anchor at Court TV in New York from 1996 until 1998 covering trials and providing legal analysis of cases including the O.J. Simpson civil trial, Dr. Jack Kevorkian assisted suicide trails, and the Marv Albert assault trial.
Gordon has not only interviewed major news makers, but has been interviewed for articles in the Washington Post, Regardie's Power Magazine, and Washingtonian. He has appeared as a legal analyst on CNN's Burden of Proof, WRC TV NBC4 in Washington, D.C. WMAL, ABC Radio in Washington, D.C. and WBAL, ABC Radio in Baltimore, Maryland.
His Legal awards include the American Bar Association's Certificate of Merit received twice for his TV series "How To Sue In Small Claims Court." He has also received two "Best of Gannett Award" honors for "Spot News" and for best "News Series.
