Bruce Pfau is the Practice Director, Organization Effectiveness, for global human capital consulting firm Watson Wyatt Worldwide. He has 20 years of experience helping clients build high-performing organizations. An internationally recognized expert in the areas of employee motivation, corporate culture and organization measurment, he writes and speaks extensively on aligning human resources practices and business performance.
In 1997 and 1998, Dr. Pfau led the team that conducted Fortune Magazine's Global Survey of Corporate Reputations and authored Human Resources Lessons for the World's Most Admired Companies, a benchmark study of how high-performing organizations attract, develop and retain top talent. He has been liberally quoted in the leading national publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Week and Fortune and has been an invited speaker for various organizations, among them The Conference Board, Business Week Executive Programs, and the American Management Association.
