He is the author of The Heart of Conflict, a compelling account of the four universal "meta-strategies" for successfully managing conflict of any kind, from arguments at home to major international disputes. Muldoon left a successful law practice in the early 1980s to co-found one of the nation's first private mediation firms. He has helped settle multi-million dollar lawsuits and massive environmental controversies and has established programs for dealing with gang violence and the devastation of divorce. Drawing on his experience as a political speech writer, trial attorney, leader of men's retreats, and law school professor, Muldoon knows how to connect with his audience. He has been featured on Good Morning America and is an inspirational speaker for audiences of all sizes.
