Bill Durkin, CSP, President and Founder of One Positive Place, a firm he started in 1987, is an international speaker, consultant and coach. For 25 years Bill has been helping leaders build healthy, high-performing teams. His unique and positive approach has produced results for over 40,000 leaders throughout the United States, Canada, England, South America, Spain and Africa.
He attended Loyola University on a basketball scholarship from 1971-1975 and graduated with a degree in Marketing. He lives with his wife and two sons in Darien, Illinois.
Work Experience 1975-Present
1983-1987 Prior to starting One Positive Place, Bill worked as a consultant for the Forum Corporation. He was responsible for producing bottom-line results with Fortune 500 clients in Chicago, St. Louis, and Kansas City. These relationships generated over one million dollars in annual sales

1976-1979 Started as a Sales Rep. and was promoted to Manager for G.M. Stainless Steel Warehouse.
1975-1976 Sales Agent for Aetna Insurance.
