Angie Jakusz was born March 27, 1980 in Waukesha, Wisconsin but later relocated to New Orleans.
When she appeared in the Palau season of Survivor, the first thing most viewers noticed about her was her collection of tattoos. However, she quickly became one of the strongest members of the ill-fated Ulong tribe, helping them win two rewards and scoring crucial points in a one-on-one immunity challenge (against an attorney nearly twice her age).
She was voted out in a strange turn of events. When the Koror tribe was given the opportunity to award immunity to one of her tribe's members, three of them chose Ibrehem Rahman, who was accused of costing the Ulong a crucial reward she believed would boost their morale. In the first vote, she tied with Bobby Jon Drinkard; in the second, with only three players allowed to vote, she herself was eliminated with no chance to plead her case.
In her own life, Jakusz works as a bartender while creating watercolors with odd objects. She previously worked as an ink lab technician and in a tattoo shop. She has also been described as a heckler and a female version of Lex van den Berghe.
