Amanda Moore was born in Idaho. She was brought up in a military family and grew up in many different parts of the world, along side her father and older brother. Amanda started college at 15 and originally wanted to become a veterinarian, but a chance encounter led her to considering a modeling career instead.

Amanda’s big break came when she shot a “cowgirl” story for Amica by none other than Patrick Demarchelier. Since then, she burst onto the scene and has been consistently working with the industry’s best photographers such as Steven Meisel, Bruce Weber, Steven Klein, Nathaniel Goldberg, Nicolas Moore, Michael Sanders, Regan Cameron, Robert Wyatt, Hans Fourer, and Peter Lindbergh to name a few.

Amanda is featured regularly in top fashion magazines such as Italian Vogue, French Vogue, British Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure, Numero, 10, and V. She has also appeared on the covers of Italian Marie Claire, Italian Glamour, French, Flaire, Mix(te), Australian and Spanish Vogue, and two covers of Italian Vogue.

Amanda has starred in numerous campaigns for top designers such as Giorgio Armani, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, D&G, Plein Sud, Tommy Hilfiger, Nichole Fahri, and John Varvados. Amanda has also appeared in television commercials for Monte Blanc, Panteen, and Armani.

In addition, Amanda has also graced the runways for the likes of designers, Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Helmut Lang, Luis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermes, and Yves Saint Laurent.

Although Amanda’s favorite place in the world is Kenya, she currently resides in New York City. She speaks fluent French and a little bit of Italian. She enjoys staying active by playing sports. Amanda describes herself as a charming and loyal person who never fails to bring to the table her infectious energy and exuberant personality.
