Biography of Aiden Turner

Aiden John Turner was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire England. At age 16, Turner completed his General Certificate of Secondary Education at which time he chose to go to culinary school (from the ages of 16-18), not with the intention of being a chef for the rest of his life, but since he loved to cook at home it seemed to be the right decision.

While in Hertford and working part-time as a chef  for Sloppy Joe's, Turner developed an interest in mixing music. Upon completeing his city and guilds diploma for catering and hospitality, he then decided to work as a chef for 2 years for the experience. During this time he also taught himself how to mix music which led him to become a DJ at a night club.

After working for a while and saving money he decided he wanted to travel the world ending up in Australia, where his modeling career began. During the days, he would go on casting calls then bartend at night. After a year he returned to his home in England and began to model for a modeling agency called NEVS, where they literally whipped him into shape. While doing modeling jobs Turner was searching for more of a challenge, so he decided to take acting classes at the Method Studio Covent Garden in London. This then led him to auditions for commercials and small parts in television programs.

While continuing to model, Turner was fortunate enough to travel to places like Milan, Germany, Barcelona, and Paris. It was during these travels for modeling that Turner met an American girl named Megan from Atlanta, Georgia.  Megan and Turner began dating and entered into a long distance relationahiop. Megan eventually inspired Turner to shoot for stardom and he was hired to play Aidan Devane on the popular soap-opera All My Children.
