Roger Staubach
NFL Hall of Fame Quaterback for the Dallas Cowboys and Successful Businessman
After winning the Heisman Trophy at the Naval Academy, Roger Staubach fulfilled a four year active duty commitment with the United States Navy, including a tour in Vietnam, and then began his NFL career. His uncanny ability to lead the Dallas Cowboys to come-from-behind victories engineered no less than 23 fourth quarter comebacks. Playing his entire 11 years with the Dallas Cowboys, Roger became the "winningest" quarterback in NFL history, leading his team to four Super Bowls, winning two. His pro career culminated in his selection into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985, his first year of eligibility.
Staubach has carried over the same winning attitude and traits from his successful football career into his business career. In 1977, Roger entered the commercial real estate industry, forming The Staubach Company. Over the years, he expanded services to meet clients’ ever changing requirements and grew to 1,600 employees serving 3,000+ clients from 70 North American offices. In July 2008, The Staubach Company merged with Jones Lang LaSalle.
Roger has carried this same winning attitude into his own successful integrated real estate company. His timely presentation, Client Satisfaction Through Teamwork, draws from his football and business experiences.
Roger and his wife Marianne reside in Dallas. They participate in many community and charitable activities and Roger is also on the board of several firms, Chairman of the Host Committee for Super Bowl XLV, and most importantly, he is a spectator in the stands at his grandchildren’s athletic events.
