He joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1969, after a 4-year service in the Navy and one year in Vietnam, and he proved himself to be one of the finest quarterbacks in history in terms of both performance and team leadership. He was voted MVP in SuperBowl VI and inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985, the first year he became eligible. Staubach's career as a four-time super bowl veteran who became an all-pro salesman proves that the gridiron can deliver lessons on weathering the inevitable setbacks of selling. Staubach is a marquee name on the sales-lecture circuit and CEO of the Staubach Company, a blue-chip real estate and corporate relocation firm based in Dallas. He shares with audiences the hard-won tactics he uses to bounce back and survive in the business of selling. According to Coach Tom Landry, “Roger Staubach might be the best combination of a passer, an athlete and a leader ever to play in the NFL.”
