| Bonnie serves as studio host for AT THE HALF, CBS Sports' college basketball halftime studio show and "SportsDesk" and has hosted the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, the U.S. Open Tennis Championships and Hambletonian...additionally, she covers figure skating and track and field for the Network.
Bonnie came to CBS from ESPN, where she was a correspondent for "SportsCenter" (1995-98). She covered a variety of sports at ESPN, including the NBA Finals (1996-98), Major League Baseball Playoffs (1995-97) and the NCAA Women's Basketball Championships (1997-98)... was also a reporter for ESPN's "NFL Countdown" and "College GameDay"...before joining ESPN, she served as the main sports anchor at KRNV-TV Reno, Nev. (1993-95); weekend news anchor at WMDT-TV Salisbury, Md. (1993); and sports and news director for WXJN-FM Radio in Lewes, Del. (1992-93).
Bonnie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism. She was an Academic All-America selection (gymnastics) and received the Thomas M. Fields Award for academic and athletic excellence.
Bonnie Bernstein was born Aug. 16 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and grew up in Howell, N.J. She lives in New York City.
