Stephanie Lydecker is a native of New York. She graduated from the University of Connecticut and then headed toward the sunshine of Miami in 1998. In Miami, she got the chance to head up the then mayor's re-election campaign. Lydecker's winning way with the media landed her on-camera when a station named "WAMI" launched with USA Networks. Lydecker became the "face of the station" where she hosted nightly entertainment reports, on location and in the studio. In 2000, Lydecker decided to move to Los Angeles and soon became the host of the reality/game series titled Your Favorite Girl Next Door for the F/X Network. Then in the winter of 2003, Lydecker served as a special correspondent for ABC's Trista and Ryan's Wedding. She got to spend the day following the couple documenting the joys and stresses of an ultra-glamorous wedding day. Lydecker has also hosted three seasons of Makeover Mamas for A&E, a decorating show where the in-laws battled it out over color schemes. Her latest gig was to get to know people across the country and help nurture their life-fulfilling goals as part of Home Delivery for NBC/Universal television. Lydecker also is currently a correspondent for the nationally syndicated Sony show Life & Style. |
