He has been the director of the highly successful New Student Orientation in which he guides and motivates 100+ student volunteers in a very unique program. In addition to coordinating many other campus programs, leadership conferences, and student activities he serves as crisis counselor and advisor to the Student Government. He also teaches Race, Class and Gender on and off campus to traditional and nontraditional students.

His enthusiastic, yet compassionate style, allows him to excel in the areas of motivation, leadership, communication, team-building, strategic planning and organizational change.

Clients Include:
WV EEO Conference, Eastern Regional DHHR Conference, WV State Nurses Association, Gardner Webb University and the National Conference for Student Services.

He Began His Career:
In higher education at West Virginia University after receiving his Masters Degree in Counseling, he served as Admissions counselor for five years before beginning his career at Fairmont State. He has served on the executive board of the WV Association of Student Personnel administrators for 15 years where he also served as president of the organization and received their Distinguished Service Award. He was also appointed to the Governor's Commission for the Holocaust and presently serves as vice president.

With a compassionate yet energetic style and gentle sense of humor, Michael provides the motivational atmosphere essential to successful workshops, conferences and other special events.
