 He has been a professional Humorist and Speaker for more than 25 years.

As a Humorist, Kurt has spoken to thousands of groups at convention and corporate gatherings across the United States, as well as Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. He has recorded three comedy albums and is featured as one of the Top Humorist's on "The Executive Treasury of Humor"; a cassette album marketed worldwide. In addition to writing humor for a variety of entertainers and speakers and comedy services from coast to coast, he continues to write and perform humor on his daily morning radio show, The Burt and Kurt Show, on a Cox Broadcasting station. Kurt also ghost writes speeches and creative broadcast Ad campaigns for radio and television stations and Ad Agencies in the Southeast and provides scores of voice tracks for commercials using his repertoire of voices and characterizations.

In 1984 The National Speakers Association awarded Kurt Kilpatrick the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. In 1989 the National Speakers Association awarded Kurt Kilpatrick the Council of Peers Award of Excellence Speakers Hall of Fame (CPAE) designation, an honor given to only Five Professional speakers each year. Kurt has been a featured speaker and teacher at numerous NSA workshops and National Conventions in Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, San Francisco, Phoenix, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Dallas, and Philadelphia.

Kurt has two published words entitled Kurt Kilpatrick presents 500 One Liners, and the anthology Secrets of Sales Champions, dealing with the importance of using humor in Business and Sales.

As a Nationally recognized speaker Kurt enjoys having the opportunity to touch others with the GIFT of HUMOR. He uses humor to help people relieve the stress and strain of life and he believes people can learn to cope with and deal with frustration, anger, fear and disappointment if they will learn to laugh. While he can have an audience laughing until their sides ache, he can also skillfully convey a message of good sound advice for effective living. A favorite quote from Will Rogers has become a by-line for Kurt, "We're only on this earth for a short time so for heaven's sake have a few laughs and don't take things so seriously, especially yourselves."

The Burt and Kurt Show has thrilled radio listeners with wit, wisdom, and humor for close to two decades in Alabama. Co-host Burt Burton and Kurt Kilpatrick received a certificate of commendation from Alabama's Governor for, "Having an irrepressible spirit and dynamic energy in the promotion of good, clean humor on the radio." The dynamic radio team continues to make mornings FUN with their contemporary humor, characters, impressions, song parodies and other humorous comedy bits. The Premiere Comedy Network recently chose Kurt Kilpatrick's Impression of President Bill Clinton as one of the Nation's best at an annual Radio Convention in the South.

In addition to his morning Radio show, Kurt Kilpatrick maintains his speaking schedule, speaking to Corporations and Associations all across the United States. Kurt provides Humorous-Motivational programs for Fortune 500 Companies, National and Regional Associations and other groups.
