Judith Rodin is president of the Rockefeller Foundation, one of the nation's oldest and largest private philanthropies, making grants and programmatic investments averaging $140 million per year. For the 10 years prior, Rodin was the president of the University of Pennsylvania, where she guided Penn through a period of unprecedented growth and development, expanding the university's international programs and collaborations in global health and women's health issues especially. Previously, Rodin was on the faculty of Yale University, served as provost at Yale, and chaired an international research network for the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. She has published more than 200 articles and chapters in academic publications and authored or co-authored 11 books.
