John Alston, CSP, CPAE is an internationally known Performance Strategist whose programs have lifted the spirits of millions of people worldwide.

He works with people who want to improve their lives, and with organizations who encourage personal achievement and character development.

John has earned the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), awarded by the National Speakers Association as well as the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame, which honors professional speakers who have reached the top echelon of platform excellence. John Alston is one of only 77 speakers who have earned both of these esteemed awards.

As a keynote speaker and trainer, John masterfully uses humor, personal experience and story telling in helping people achieve personal development and professional improvement skills.

He believes that knowledge, character, common sense and the spirit of enterprise is what drives people to succeed. It is this message that he leaves with his audiences.

John Alston holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University. An active member of the Josephson Institute of Ethics Corps, he was the founder of the American Institute for Stress Management. He has also served as an instructor for Caada College, Chapman College, and the University of California Extension.

John is the author of two books, Life is a Gift… Don’t Trash It and Story Power—Talking with Teens in Turbulent Times. He has traveled all over the world, including Japan, Egypt, Thailand, Hong Kong, Turkey, India, Greece, Portugal, Spain, France, Mexico, and Canada—bringing a truly global perspective to the platform.
