Currently, Dr. Richter serves as president of HORASIS: The Global Visions Community - a consultancy focusing on how Multinational Corporations can craft strategies to develop into real global champions. In the past, Frank-Jurgen Richter served as the World Economic Forum's Director in charge of Asian affairs. Under his leadership, the Forum's Summits in Asia have evolved to facilitate the exchange of expertise between leaders in business, government and civil society. During this time, Richter has developed an extensive experience and knowledge on the world's economic, business and political scene and its key players. He also had a distinguished career with Multinational Corporations in Asia and Europe. He lived, studied and worked in Asia for almost a decade where he developed and managed the Chinese operations for European Multinationals. He is fluent in Mandarin and Japanese. In his new book Global Future: The Next Challenge for Asian Business, Frank-Jurgen Richter encourages organizations to grow globally in order to thrive. Dr. Richter is an active scholar: he has authored and edited over twenty books on international affairs. His most recent books include Asia's New Crisis. Renewal through Total Ethical Management, China: Enabling a New Era of Changes and Recreating Asia: Visions for a New Century. He has addressed audiences at the Brookings Institute, Harvard University, Beijing University, Asia Society, Royal Institute of International Affairs, and several high-level corporate events.
