One of the original founders of The Style Network, Rubin is a frequent guest on many live and pre-taped television shows including: The Today Show, The View, The Tyra Banks Show, Good Morning America, Beauty And The Geek, KTLA, Good Day Live, Soap Talk, NBC, ABC, and WB stations, as well as radio. Networks and played a key role in shaping the content of the network's popular style programming in its inception. While there, she was responsible for the development and launch of such signature series as Stripped, The Look for Less, Glow, Modern Girl's Guide To Life, Style Star, You're Invited, and New York Fashion Week. As a contributing writer and editor, Rubin's fashion, beauty, travel, and dating stories appear in such magazines and websites as: People, LA Confidential, Elite Traveler, Organic Style, Fashion Wire Daily, Glam, C, and Where Los Angeles. Recently, Rubin served as Executive Director, Programming and Development for Fox's 20th Television. While there, she headed up FOXLAB and was responsible for identifying and overseeing the development and production for new programs in syndication, cable and broadcast. Between 1997 and 2000, Rubin oversaw fashion programming for E! Entertainment Television. She brought high profile on-air talent and lifestyle experts to the network and created strategic alliances with national brands in the fashion and beauty industries. Rubin was also integral in the development of E!'s signature programming including: Fashion Police, Celebrity Beauty Secrets Revealed, The Magic of Milan, Paris Couture Fashion Week, and the fashion news segment, "TrendE!" for E! News Live. Rubin is credited for initiating and securing the deal with Victoria's Secret for the first ever Victoria's Secret television special. She has worked closely with such brands as Revlon, W Hotels, Saks Fifth Avenue, Estee Lauder, Express, Loreal, Donna Karan, Sephora, Stila, Shabby Chic, Ray-Ban, Vogue, and US Weekly for branded programming and sponsorships. Rubin also discovered and invited fashion expert Steven Cojocaru to serve as a fashion critic for E!, the first national outlet to employ him. Currently, Rubin is working on more books for the Frumpy To Foxy franchise.
