Courtney Hansen returns for the second season of Fox Spotts Net's (FSN) highly rated host-driven series "Destination Wild," where she takes viewers on exciting vacation adventures across the United States. From city to city, Courtney shows off the towns and then rolls up her sleeves and gets in the thick of the action with world class athletes & experts... from motorcycle rallies to Class 5 whitewater rafting to Olympic bob sledding & steer wrestling, the motto is "If you can dream it, you can do it." Courtney is also hosting her third season of Spike TV's "Powerblock," where she can be seen for two hours every Saturday & Sunday. This automotive block features high performance muscle cars, wild jet drag trucks, industry savvy news and retrospectives on historic classics. Courtney quickly attained popularity & a devoted worldwide
following as the gorgeous, spunky co-host of The Learning Channel's (TLC's) hit car makeover show "Overhaulin'." She also co-hosted two other TLC specials, "Rides: Biggest Spenders" & "Million Dollar Motors".

Hansen got her start in the business as host of the Jack Nicklaus comedic pilot "Killer Golf" & on a documentary for the Travel Channel titled, "Miami: Feeling the Heat". Formerly the author of the "Garage Girl" column for FHM Magazine, Courtney just authored her first book, The Garage Girls Guide to Everything You Need to Know About Your Car. The book is targeted towards women and first time car owners & is available in stores. She also writes a bi-weekly syndicated newspaper column found throughout the US and Canada titeld "Courtney Hansen: Full Throttle," where she discusses various automotive topics. Hansen, who has endorsement deals with 3M,
Matco Tools & Arctic Cat, was honored in 2005 as the los Angeles recipient of Ford's "Life in Drive" Award. This prestigious award recognizes women who combine talent with that little something extra that allows them to break free from convention to live life with style and attitude.

Courtney has graced numerous magazine covers and was named one of FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World.

Hansen's automotive roots run deep. She was a pit kid who grew up in Orono, Minnesota. Her family once owened Minnesota's Brainerd international Raceway, and her father, Jerry Hansen holds the SCCA racing record with 27 national titles.

Courtney modeld & acted as a child. As a young teen she attended an international talent competition, took home several awards & was offered a contract in NYC with one of the largest theatrical agencies. During high school she become a spokeswoman for Dodge Motors in Florida, doing 22 of their TV commercials. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing at Florida State University & then went on to work for a short time as a marketing specialist before leaving the corporate world to pursue a full-time career in entertainment. After the completion of the pilot, Killer Golf at Universal Studios, Courtney decided to commit to a full time career in Loss Angeles.

Hansen is tenacious and has a strong mid-western ethic. She left her family behind & moved to LA alone, a city she had never before visited, making a pact with herself to do at least one thing for her career each day & to never lose sight of her moral compass. She waited tables in several restaurants simultaneously to earn money, attained roles in short & independent films, worked as a corporate narrator and became a spokesperson for the Rolls-Royce Motor Car. It wasn't long before she was working full time as a TV host.

Hansen's charitable endeavors will always be a big part of her life. She is on the regional board for The Painted Turtle, a camp for children with life threatening illnesses, she has worked on the board for the March of Dimes, and has volunteered with LA foster homes, the Special Olympics, the NBA's Read to Achieve Program, the Ronald McDonald House and other charities. One of her most rewarding experiences was the opportunity to be part of a small team who participated in mission work in Asia, devising marketing plans and providing counsel for an underprivileged society.

Wherever thr road may lead from here, it is clear that Hansen is in the driver's seat and nothing is going to slow her down.
