This Scottsdale native, who has appeared on the Party Poker Million from the World Poker Tour and had 15 final table appearances in 2003, places his focus on tournaments. Chip, who has appeared on the cover of Poker Digest, is a well-rounded player who has made seven final tables in nearly as many different games, and won the best all-around player award at the Commerce Casino at the 2001 Los Angeles Poker Classic. He strives to learn something new from every game and has the ability to isolate the key strategies of top competitors, then integrate them into his own game. Chip has many wins and final table appearances to his name. These include placing first in the 4th Annual World Poker Open No Limit Hold'em, mixed games at Los Angeles Poker Classic and 2003 Tropicana Poker Championship Series in No Limit Holdem. In 2003 he made it to the final tables at the World Series of Poker; the World Poker Challenge in the Omaha High-Low and Pot Limit Holdem; and took second in the Bellagio Special Poker Events No Limit Holdem. He also placed fourth in the 2003 Legends of Poker World Poker Tour event. |
