Charlie Plumb is a former prisoner of war and one of the most sought-after achievement speakers. He is a graduate of the Naval Academy and a Navy fighter pilot. He was instrumental in starting the TOP GUN School. After 74 combat missions over North Vietnam, he was shot down and spent 2,103 days in communist prison camps.

More than 4,000 audiences encompassing every industry have been spellbound as Charlie draws parallels between his experience and those of every manager, salesperson or parent.

He has made personal appearances on such television shows as Good Morning America, Nightline, Larry King, and The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer - moving the viewers with his powerful story.

Charlie Plumb recently retired as a Navy Reserve Captain. His medals include two Purple Hearts, the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, and the POW Medal.
