Making her first on-screen appearance in 1999 in the pilot episode of NBC’s cult teen dramedy “Freaks and Geeks,” Brianna Brown continues to add to her acting resume with roles in films like Hollywood Homicide (2003), Spider-Man 2 (2004), The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005), Conversations with Other Women (2005), Adam and Eve (2005), Night of the Living Dead 3D (2006) and Love's Abiding Joy (2006). The 5' 7" naturally blonde actress, who has appeared on such hit television shows as “Monk,” “CSI,” “Smallville” and “Entourage,” will play roles in the upcoming films Knocked Up, No Destination, Timber Falls, Art Imitating Life, and in a TV series pilot called “Dash 4 Cash.”
Career:
In late of the 1990s, Brianna Brown made her first on-screen appearance as a cheerleader in the pilot episode of NBC’s cult teen dramedy “Freaks and Geeks.” She followed it up with a co-starring role, as Kim, the girl who is suddenly transported back to the 17th century during a museum visit in the made-for-television movie Search for the Jewel of Polaris: Mysterious Museum.
Brown subsequently received guest starring roles in TV shows like UPN short-lived horror/comedy "Special Unit 2," the WB comedy "Off Centre," CBS police procedural series "Robbery Homicide Division," CBS popular, Emmy-winning crime drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and its spin-off, "CSI: Miami." She also had a starring role in the failed TV series "Lost at Home."
Meanwhile, moviegoers could catch her in director Luke Greenfield's comedy The Animal (2001; starring Rob Schneider) and Ron Shelton's action comedy Yuri & Me (2003; starring Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett). She also appeared in Kevin Du Toit's 12-minute comedy film Yuri & Me (2003).
In 2004, Brown played a tiny part as a train passenger in Sam Raimi's Academy Award-winning sequel to the popular 2002 film, Spider-Man 2, starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco. The next year, she appeared as a bar girl in Judd Apatow's directional debut, the romantic comedy The 40 Year Old Virgin, starring Steve Carell, and played a bride in Hans Canosa's independent film Conversations with Other Women, with Aaron Eckhart and Helena Bonham Carter. Also in 2005, she starred in Phil Volken's 15-minute film Ex Post Facto and in Jeff Kanew's romantic comedy Adam and Eve, starring Cameron Douglas and Emmanuelle Chriqui.
During that time, Brown also guest starred in an episode of the WB’s sci-fi series about a young Clark Kent/Superman, "Smallville," NBC sitcom starring Matt LeBlanc, "Joey," and in two episodes of HBO dramedy "Entourage."
In 2006, Brown snagged the female lead role in Jeff Broadstreet's 3D chiller film Night of the Living Dead 3D, the second remake of the 1968 horror classic Night of the Living Dead, and was cast in Michael Landon Jr.'s adaptation of Janette Oke's novel, Love's Abiding Joy. She also guest starred in an episode of USA Network's Emmy-winning dramedy starring Tony Shalhoub, "Monk," and in two episodes of CBS legal drama "Shark."
Brown has wrapped her upcoming film, Knocked Up, a romantic comedy by writer-director Judd Apatow starring Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl scheduled for release on June 1, 2007. She also has completed No Destination, an 18-minute film by Shannah Laumeister which also stars John Savage, and Tony Giglio's horror/thriller Timber Falls, alongside Josh Randall. She is currently filming Matthew Van Vlack's drama comedy Art Imitating Life, starring Ric Borelli, and will star in an upcoming comedy pilot called "Dash 4 Cash" with Robert Hoffman.
