In April 2001, Bill acquired Unstrung, Inc., an online media and events company that provides proprietary content, events and subscription offerings tied to the wireless industry. Unstrung's Stringer email report reaches over 20,000 wireless decision makers, and Unstrung.com receives over 100,000 unique visits per month. Bill is the editor of the eFinance Insider, a biweekly report covering the efinance industry. The report has featured interviews with the CEOs of PayPal, CBS Marketwatch, and Yodlee and currently reaches over 20,000 subscribers.Bill is currently co-managing Silicon Ivy, a seed-stage venture capital firm targeting student-driven startup opportunities. Silicon Ivy has raised $8 million in financing from investors including Hummer Winblad and US Venture Partners.
