Angela Martinez worked in television news for eight years. A Virginia native, Martinez has a B.A. from the College of William and Mary and a M.S. from the University of Illinois in Champagne/Urbana.
After school, Martinez worked as a television news reporter and anchor at WRIC in Richmond, Vir.; WAVE TV in Louisville, Ky.; and KHOU TV in Houston. She has anchored every possible newscast, from evening and morning news to noon and weekend news. Also an actor, Martinez moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and has worked on several films and television programs, including Mel Gibson's Paparazz, 10-8: Officers on Duty and Strong Medicine. She has also appeared in several national commercials. But her real labor of love is her family. In 1995, Martinez married her college sweetheart, and they have two young sons. |
