Formerly an aerospace technician and currently a USO comedy star, Alonzo is the only man to have built Stealth Fighters and entertain the pilots. Don't let his look fool you. Alonzo's sense of humor has him sharing his observation, frustrations and outright pain on everything from shopping to sports, from politics to parents and every man's lament, being seen by women as "just a friend." Six feet three inches tall, 225 lbs. of muscle, and he's still "holding the purse." Alonzo's best plans all "Seemed Like a Good Idea At The Time" ....which is also the title of his new CD on Uproar Comedy Records. Check it out. Alonzo appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing, finishing as a finalist during Season 2 before being named the winner of Season 3. His other TV credits include: Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Make Me Laugh, Friday Night Videos, and The Craig Kilbourne Show. He was the first comedian invited to appear on The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show and has appeared on many other comedy shows. Alonzo describes his humor as "Cynically Good-natured" which explains his broad appeal. |
